If a person was "OF" such-and-such a place, that must mean he/she was a resident there at some point. So, my logical conclusion has been to use the RESIDENCE event. That way I don't have to worry about cluttering my master locations list with OFs that increase the list and I can still reference t

A member of my local users group is asking some questions about the proper placement of certain types of place names in Legacy. Typically, we enter the U.S. place names in the format: “City, County, State, Country” which is four positions with the country in the fourth position. If we are missing a
