FamilySearch doesn't allow sources attached to any 'Other Events'. You can only tag sources to name, gender, birth, christening, death and burial. Although you can add sources and NOT tag them to anything. Have you looked at how Legacy sources show up on FamilySearch Family Tree? I've not

[LegacyUG] Sources not available to upload to FamilySearch

Why aren't all sources for a person available to upload to FamilySearch Tree? Other programs such as RootsMagic show them and allow them to be uploaded using the same gedcom file. Legacy seems to only recognize sources for Birth, Marriages and Deaths as being valid sources to upload to
