My uncle did that. I have one uncle and one aunt in the system. Under
their events I list each marriage as an event and the divorces as an
event. There are no duplicate people, however, I add to the marriage notes
the details of their strange relationship.

Just enter the second marriage as you would any other. Link to an
existing person.
You won't have duplicate names if you link to an existing person, but
both marriages to the same person will show in the reports, just as if
they were two marriages to different people.
