You can’t do that. Two separate dates need to be two separate events. If you have two events in one date field it will format it as a range. 04 Feb 1844 – 10 Jun 1845 (meaning through) Or you can do this… Bet. 04 Feb 1844 and 10 Jun 1845 (meaning between) But you can’t do 04 F

As well as what Tony has suggested the way I do it is to use the first date for the event, then in the notes I just add something like . There was also a report on 2nd date, or . A follow up report on date 2 read:.. or if the text is not too long to transcribe I would attach a pdf or
