Search Miscellaneous Direct line ancestors with no parents
will give you the top ends of the branches for all your ancestor branches -
which I think is the same as your home ?

I am not at all clear as to what you mean when referring to the female tree.
This may be because I tend to think in terms of mtDNA when considering a female
tree. In my scenario the female line is always passed from mother to daughter
down the line.
