Hi, unfortauntely even after giving them a bit more time I still didn't hear _any_ feedback from them. According to Frederik's good suggestion to maybe not bug the legal-talk with reminders about this any longer I'll take this thread off-list for the moment. And I'd be happy to coordinate with you, Jonas, how we proceed with them. As the wiki-page Frederik mentioned http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Lacking_proper_attribution suggests I'll give it a second try to contact them.
