Moving on to bigger and better storage medium, this one has been rock solid
reliable for me. Never had an issue with it. Configured with 4x1TB hard drives
for 3TB RAID5 array. I've had it connected via eSATA to a Mac Mini and
routinely got file transfer speeds over 220MB/s. It is very fast.
I've got 2 used sets from a couple G5 iMacs that got parted out. Two 1GB
sticks of PC3200 DDR in each set. Works in a wide variety of machines, from the
G4 Mini to iMac G5s and PowerMac G5 towers. I can check compatibility for your

I have an Xserve G5 (2·0 GHz) with an 80 GB HD and only 512K RAM. I'd like to
get it up to 2GB RAM and to at least 200GB HD, preferably as extra HD(s) rather
than replacement(s) for the existing 80 GB.
