I just got a Powerbook 160 from my dad's best friend, and it seems that
either the power cord with it doesn't work, or the book itself is doomed.
Since I can't find a voltmeter around the house I think the cheapest
alternative is to try another adapter. Because Wells Fargo does what it
does I o
I gave a quick read-up to the 8/9600 PowerMacs and realized, "Hey now. This
would be a lot more useful for video editing than the 7500 I've had for 6
years." So, I want one now! :)
Now, because I value my cards, drives and processors, if it isn't
unreasonable all I'm asking for is a barebones-f
As usual, I have $70 on budget :) Preferably 700MHz, but will settle for
lower if need be.

Howdy folks! 5 years since my last post :)
I'm looking to upgrade the poor processor on my PowerMac 7500, and figured
out there's G4 cards made for it! Two have interested me, but being on a
$70 budget I have no clue what I can even afford:
1. XLR8 MACh Carrier G4 MPe 450 2X - Seems to have the
My 500 MB SCSI disk is nearly full on my PowerMac 7500, and I need a
bigger one to support Mac OS 9. 5 GB would be the minimum for me, but
I can always take bigger :)

Still, my wallet's in Hendersonville, and my parents have no reason to
go up there right now. But, I still have almost $50 in my box and at
least $11 of allowance to get owed. Plus, It's my brithday today, so
I'm soon getting a good sum of money with that. So I should be able to
get one of these.
I'm looking for at least 256 MBs (512 MBs to 1 GB would be better!) of
total memory for my soon-to-come Power Mac 7500. Best sold in 128 MB
sticks. $30 will be my maximum price for 1 GB.
I'm also looking for a good-sized SCSI Hard Drive. About 5+ GB will
work. Name your price for this one.

My G4 has had a screen flicker problem for three years, and it's now
deader than a doornail. I need a new screen now, but not very soon. I
actually like the feeling of a TAM on this thing :D
Anyways, If you can hand me a screen for about $50, I'd be glad. But
my wallet's in Hendersonville, so giv
Since I'm trying to use System 7 again, I'm deciding to get an older
PowerMac for my daily use. I'd appreciate any offers for a PCI
PowerMac :)
I have a Beige G3 Minitower with a 500 MHz G4 upgrade by Sonnet. It
has a 4 GB HD and 768 MB of RAM. I'll install whatever system you want
to. 8.1 - 10.2
I just got a great WallStreet two weeks ago. With ORiNOCO, it's my
daily computer. But just yesterday, I somehow bent the PC Card pins in
the cage, and now the card freezes the system in both slots. I'm quite
upset, and don't really wish to go through any hassle. Just hand me a
price of $5 to $10
My PowerBook 1400 is in the process of fixing, my 5300 is getting
fixed after Christmas, and I'm getting a 3400 quite soon, with darned
expensive shipping. I'd like at least one Orinoco/WaveLAN Silver or
Gold card for one of these computers. I'd also like it cheap. Let's
say up to $20 shipped.

I have a quantity of macs that I'm not using anymore. I'd like to get
these out of the house and hopefully raise money for a new PowerBook.
If you prefer to trade, I'd be happy to do so. I'm in major preference
for either a Pismo, Wallstreet/PDQ or a PowerBook 3400. If you happen
to have one, I'd
I'm looking for a PowerBook 2400 or 3400 in good condition. I'd prefer
at least the following specs:
At least 1.3 GB Hard Drive (2400) or 2 GB Hard Drive (3400)
About or at least 32 MB RAM
10BASE-T Ethernet (3400) and/or WaveLAN Silver/Gold card (2400 +
3400).
CD Expansion Module (3400)

My PowerBook is slightly damaged from being handled improperly in my
book bag (A roller is too much a gamble). The DVD drive is being
intermittent, and requires some weird procedure to get it going. The
fan is also out, and the PCMCIA slot is slightly damaged (At least the
card slot still works :]
I'm looking for a Power Macintosh in the X600 family. I would deeply
prefer the 9600, though. So please contact me for those.
I would rather trade at least one of my systems. But if you want
money, I'm looking for any price up to $35 Shipped.
