Greetings swappers, Due to job loss I need to part with my MacBook. I'm the original owner, and she's been my daily driver for years. She's been rock solid for me over the years; no repairs have been done to the system. This system will run Tiger (with original restore discs, which I do NOT have,) Leopard, Snow Leopard, or Lion. It will NOT run Mountain Lion or Mavericks. I've been running it dual boot OS X 10.6.8 and Kubuntu 13.10 beta, and she's performed well under both.
Specs: MacBook2,1 white (Late 2006 model) 2.0 GHz Core2Duo 2.5 GB RAM installed Original 80 GB HDD (will be wiped per list rules; I can include a retail copy of OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.3 for an additional $20.) Battery shows 3503 mAH fully charged according to system profiler (3rd party replacement bought in 2010) All ports function correctly, AirPort and Bluetooth function correctly, screen is in great condition, SuperDrive functions correctly Includes power brick Has a crack on the bezel on the left screen rest and on the palm rest on the right side, as is typical of these MacBooks. For an extra $50 I'll leave my 60GB OWC Electra SSD installed. With the SSD installed she boots Snow Leopard and/or Lion in about 17 seconds. The SSD was purchased this February at a cost of $90 (prior to the price drop) and is still under warranty through Other World Computing. I'm asking $175 shipped with the stock hard drive, $225 shipped with the SSD. A boxed retail copy of Snow Leopard is available for an additional $20. Shipping as quoted is to the continental US only; AK and HI will be higher. I cannot accept PayPal payments, so payment will need to be done via Money Order or well concealed cash.
