Hi LEM Swappers, I've recently upgraded a G5 iMac from the stock 1GB RAM kit to a 2GB RAM kit. As such, the original 1GB RAM kit that was in there is up for sale. This kit features two sticks of 512MB Micron brand RAM; this is the RAM that came with the system when it was brand new. There is nothing wrong with it.
This iMac was used sparingly in a home setting for the first four years or so of its life, during which time the original RAM was used,so as far as usage goes, this has pretty low hours on it; and it has not really been "put through the paces" — so to speak. Similar RAM (like this Kingston set: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820141423) can be found on Newegg for $53.99 + shipping, so I figured $40 shipped is a good place for me to put this. There is no comparable Micron RAM on Newegg as of this posting, so I used Kingston as my comparison; I consider them to be similar because they're both big name brands.
