External Hard Drive Cases, SATA III to USB 3 (up to 5 Gbps!) ***NEW*** These are great quality cases, designed to hold 1.8 or 2.5” laptop Hard Drives, by Orico. The outer shell is that non-skid plastic, so they stay put on your desk. They are “tool-less” - you pop open the case, push in the HD, slide the cover back on and you’re done. No screwdriver required. SATA III is, of course, downward compatible with SATA II and I. A short USB3 cable is provided, with a standard USB connector, so it will plug right into your Mac or hub. This case is *unpowered*, which is ok for these small drives. I’ve been using the same model cases for my stray 160 and 500GB 2.5” drives. They work great! I have 2 cases,,, How about $14 each, OBO.
