Cosmetical Condition: This Powerbook has been well used. But it is refurbished. The hinges were previously broken and are replaced. Scars from that surgery are still visible. The lid opens and closes easily now. The locking latch needs a press on the opening buttton to engage properly. It stays shut. The white carbon fiber has received a fresh white coat. There are some scratches on the silver finish of the top and bottom case. The top has a little dent. The screen is evenly bright but has some keyboard imprints. Missing rubber feet are replaced with custom made rubber pieces. The inside is cleaned out and all case pieces are well bonded together. No missing screws. Functional Condition: Technically there are no known flaws. Except for the IRDA and the PCMCIA slot I have tested everything. No flaws found. Booting, Sleeping, Waking up, charging, cooling - all tested. AHT shows all tests passed. Audio/Video out - everything works. PRAM-battery is tested good. The Main battery is weak. 2000mAh are indicated but iBatt2 testing shows 500mAh at the most. This is good for 45minutes Airport streamed iTunes music or 20 minutes of DVD watching. Mac OS 10.4.11 Tiger is freshly installed and updated. I just used it for testing. Can be used as is. No install CDs are included. Overall: This is a good looking and fully functional Titanium for easy computer work. Web browsing, Emailing, pictures managing, office working, movie watching and music playing - all this is no problem with this machine.
