On any Mac that can use a USB keyboard, the gamepad will work without the software/drivers but you cannot customize the key assignments (it would work just like a USB keyboard). I can confirm that the customization software does not work in OS X 10.6 or later. I have used the windows-version of customization software in Parallels running Windows XP with no problems. I just made the keybinding assignments in Parallels and loaded them onto the gamepad. The gamepad then worked fine on my mac (OS X 10.4 thru 10.8) with the customized keypad assignments.
