I'm selling my "dual-boot" Centris 650. "Dual-boot" in the SystemPicker sense. This one has the full 68040 processor, 2x built- in CDROM drive, and the AAUI LAN port (which come as options in the original configuration). I'll include a Farallon AAUI-Ethernet adapter so you could directly attach to your network using a standard RJ-45 cable. RAM is 40MB (2x 16MB SIMMs + 8MB motherboard memory) with two free SIMM slots. Hard drive is partitioned having Mac OS 7.6.1, the A/UX boot partition (7.0.1), the A/UX root partition, and the A/UX swap partition.
The Centris 650 is one of the better platforms to test your hands on Apple A/UX (one of its pre-OSX Unix systems). It has the 68040 processor and is in a smaller desktop form factor with an internal CDROM drive. Apple A/UX can be configured to use the Finder user interface or an X11 interface. Tested working with a standard set of ADB keyboard and mouse (not included) and monitor (not included).
