Hi swappers, This is loaded Mac Pro tower with two dual core Intel Xeon 5100 2.66GHz CPUs, for a total of four cores. It’s got 10GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. Three other internal hard drive bays are open. Onboard 802.11n AirPort Extreme wireless is installed and there is Bluetooth connectivity via a 3rd party external USB adapter. In the top optical drive bay there is a 16x SuperDrive with dual-layer support. The lower optical bay is open/available. This model has two “hidden” SATA ports, so there are some interesting options: a $5 SATA cable can be run to the lower optical bay, making it possible to add an internal Blu Ray (SATA) drive, or other SATA interface optical drive. Another option is adding a kit from OWC that converts those two hidden ports into two eSATA ports on the back. I’ve performed those same two tweaks on other similar Mac Pro towers, but I can’t remotely support the buyer doing so on this machine. There are two NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256MB video cards installed, each with one single-link DVI port, and one dual-link DVI port. It’s possible to drive four monitors at once! The original lightly-used wired keyboard and mouse are included. The case has no scratches, dents, dings or bends. The Mac Pro is running Snow Leopard, and in accordance with list rules, an original Snow Leopard disc will be included. This will ship via UPS in the original box.
$1,000, plus shipping. I’ve researched the value carefully and this same machine sells for well over $1,200 on eBay when it’s loaded with the expensive server-grade RAM that this Mac Pro requires. Those other comparables didn’t have dual video cards either, so that’s another plus for this machine's value.
