This is an Audio Authority VGA / Component high definition video converter. It works great on older HDTVs and projectors that lack HDMI/DVI inputs. I used it several years ago to play back video from my original G4 Mac mini to my HDTV. The adapter worked fine (but the Mac mini couldn't keep up with the high def video!) and I bought an AppleTV when they came out instead. I haven't used it since then.
