This is a Zoom Telephonics Model 3049 data/fax modem. It is a current product, and is a true hardware modem. I can include an RS-232 to Apple 9-pin serial adapter cable which allows it to connect to any PowerMac with serial ports.
Zoom has both Mac OS and OS X modem scripts for this model, but a USB/Serial adapter would be necessary for modern Macs. It's been recently tested with a PowerMac 8500 and it worked well. Since it's a hardware modem, it can be used with LINUX, UNIX and Windows as well as Mac OS and OS X. I'd like to get $20 including shipping, but that's negotiable. Shipping from the Chicago area.
