This is what remains of a Pismo I scavenged several years ago for
usable parts for another working Pismo. Here's what's left, all
disassembled:
1. Dead logic board.
2. Bottom plastic case, both the literal bottom and the top half where
the keyboard sits.
3. Top plastic case with LCD. This LCD and case came from the other
Pismo. I replaced it because the display had gone haywire. That's the
easiest way to describe the phenomenon. I don't know whether the LCD
is the problem or if the video card inside the case is the problem.
The LCD might be perfectly good, but I make no warranty on that. When
I had my Pismo, the easiest thing for me to do was to swap out the top
case and LCD as one unit.
4. Internal metal frame.
5. Screws and miscellaneous connectors.
Once I have your zip code, I'll give you the total shipped price. USPS
Priority Flat Rate Box costs $10.20, but I may be able to ship it
cheaper than that since it's not very heavy. PayPal funds to me at my
email address.
