I'm selling one of my older pre-press Macs. The last of the "workhorses". Original owner purchased mid-1998. Purchased as a 9600/350. It has the heavy duty power supply. One of the last manufactured. Includes original manuals for the computer, Initio Miles SCSI card and ATI video card. Where applicable, utilities for these items are loaded on the hard drives. Using OWC's xPostFacto you can run OS X on this box along with OS 9.
Here's what's specifically included in this build: Upgraded with an 800 Mhz Sonnet PPC G4 processor. 768 MB of ram (6/128 MB DIMMS). Initio Miles U2W SCSI card with 2 Atlas Quantum 10K drives (10GB each) plus a 2 GB Seagate ST32717N and an IBM DCAS 4GB drive (total 4 drives all internal). The computer may be configured to boot off SCSI bus 2 or 1. Atlas drives may be formatted and configured using Soft Raid in various combinations such as stripe or mirror. The computer is currently configured to boot from bus 2 using the Atlas 10Ks which are formatted as individual drives. Over the years I've used other configurations as my needs changed. Plextor PX-W120S CDR burner and Matshita CD ROM (both internal) enable simultaneous duplication or copy of CDs. ATI Radeon 7000 video card with the latest software/firmware upgrades. Apple extended keyboard, Apple mouse, power and video cables. New battery 4 months ago. Locking 4 caster metal low profile CPU stand included. Includes original CPU (604E) card as well. Cosmetically perfect. Very well cared for. Still a viable workhorse today. Under OS 9 it will run older versions of Quark, Photoshop and Live Picture at speeds that rival newer CPUs. Blazingly fast when booted off the 10K drives (as configured). Installed system is Mac OS 9.1. Asking $200.00 + shipping from Tampa, FL 33603 (this beast is heavy). Paypal preferred.
