I was given a T2 with liquid in LCD layers and not turning on. I did
not actually try to leave it plugged in for a few minutes as an
experiment, to cajole an empty battery.

Anyway, I disassembled it. I found that with the battery disconnected
it turned on. However, there was still water between layers behind the
LCD and in front of the backlight. As I was attempting to polish such
layers, one of the plastic layers (sort of a lens?) broke.

So I have all the pieces in a baggie. The electronics seemed to work
(of course I did not test specific functionality, just saw it boot).
The LCD itself seems fine. The backlight lighted.

You can have it all (minus the stylus) for the cost of shipping - $5
