Hello swappers, Ideally, I would like to trade a matched pair of Hynix PC3-12800 2GB sticks (4GB total) pulled from my 2012 MBP for a matched pair of PC3-8500 2GB sticks (4GB total). Some of the earlier macbooks that take DDR3 ram is very particular about the speed of the RAM. All the machines I've put my sticks in that aren't running at the higher bus speeds like my 2012 MBP will have kernel panics or won't even boot. My sticks of RAM do work and if you need proof, I can provide you some of it running in my MBP.
If you don't want to trade and have a set that you could sell, please let me know the price. Shipping will be to Tuscola, TX 79562.
