Somewhere around 1995-2000, MCE made ballistic nylon carrying cases with foam 
inserts that fit VST Smart Disks and other similar-size portable drives. 
(Currently I use them for Wiebetech ToughTech Mini drives.) They were also 
supplied without the inserts for PowerBook G3 expansion bay devices.
