My mother's Titanium G4 PowerBook's hinges finally bit the dust. The right hinge has snapped in the notorious place, so I am either looking for an entire screen assembly with a 1280 x 854 display included, or a parts machine of which I could pull the screen from. I understand the difficulty of separating the upper case (of the display) to replace the hinges, so I figure that it would be easier to swap the whole assembly.
Am also interested in replacing just the hinges. If anybody has a set of hinges or even just the right hinge, let me know.
