I don't tend to think of gui stuff as revolutionary.
My interest in tabbed editor is not as a novelty,
but as a facilitator of side-by-side node body versioning.

nodes are identified by explicit markers in the node names, so that certain
nodes begin with @file, @auto, etc. followed by the filename, for instance.
