Ipython returns contiguous input-output pairs to the Ipython pane
without separations. I experimented with inserting a line feed after
each output and I think it improves readability. Can we add that to
the code?

Using ctl-tab is common to toggle between active panes for the qt
interface on windows. If the Ipython log pane is active the key
combination (and other ctl combinations) are not recognized and the
cursor stays stuck in the pane.
Is this a bug or is there a settings command to manage this binding
window is quite sluggish in general, while tunning
under Tkinter it is snappy.
Note that I am always talking about ipython as part of ileo. When I
run ipython outside of the ileo it works fine.

I am using the ipython bridge more and more. Its great. I noticed
that if I run a script from leo that includes the g.redirectStdout()
or g.redirectStderr() functions, the leo gui will freeze if I have an
ipython bridge open. I have found this behavior on Windows, but
haven't checked it yet on L
Am I doing something wrong or should I report a bug. Keyboard input
is not accepted in find form, the log tab or any newly created tabs.

I use it from a portable drive on Linux and Windows and it works
well. You may need to set some file associations, environment
variables or paths.

site-packages. Windows Vista user accounts creates problems with some
plugins if leo is installed to program files.

But my luck may be running out.
I just installed it on windows using the installer. It seemed to work
just fine. I am unclear on why it installs to program files rather
than site-packages. I can't see any advantages to program files and
site-packages seems to be a cleaner and more natural location for
python code.

worked in earlier versions broke in 4-6-2. Ville said that should
not be too much the case. I took a more careful look today and the

I think the start-up command is a better way to go. The mini-buffer
command would often fail for me anyway in the tk interface if I had
run some scripts prior to invoking it.

Naming clarification:
In the above discussion when I refer to Ipython I mean Ileo and when I
refer to Ileo I mean Leo. I won't explain why I thought differently
but a I recently checked the terminology and thought I would add this

I wrote a program (about 1ksloc) that lives in Leo and provides a
fairly complete engineering calculation environment. I call it calioPY
(keh-lie'-oh-pie) (calculation-in-only-Python, although caleoPy may
have been better - I adapted it to Leo this year to take advantage of
