Afaik, #579: Key bindings don't take for commands defined in plugins <https://github.com/leo-editor/leo-editor/issues/579> resolves all the remaining issues in #510: Improve how Leo handles settings <https://github.com/leo-editor/leo-editor/issues/510>. But I could be mistaken.
Please discuss *here *before reopening #510. As noted in the closing comment for #510, k.registerCommand calls the do-nothing k.killBinding, which will likely become functional as part of #327: Create a way to unbind bindings in leoSettings.leo <https://github.com/leo-editor/leo-editor/issues/327>. k.registerCommand probably will not have to change, but we shall see... #327 is the last remaining high-priority issue relating to settings.
