Why is it trying to link against a static version of libreadline? As
far as I can see, the LFS instructions for readline disable building
or installing the static version altogether.
Yes, that's true and it probably explains the link fail. I have some
static libraries around to build some static binaries for my intiramfs'.
Now I cross build most of those binaries with musl, so I should move to
shared only on the classic LFS.
