It has been some time that I wanted to contribute but was too busy to
do so. Now, I can since I migrated email services off from gmail and
handled most all of my clients' needs regarding their website.

For what is that good for? It looks to me that this has been a test,
according to changelog at least more than 20 months ago... ;-)
You can simply remove the attributes by
