newest version). I now have two questions if you update gcc, glibc, or
binutils: Do you have to start back with 5.1 or can you build these with
older versions that were in tools if it was preserved? My second question

If you don't know what kernel driver you need you could:
- Use google
- Include every SATA adapter and check dmesg which one is really used
then recompile with the one you really need!

tried to use the host systems kernel config but I ran into at least one
problem (space) probably more because it kind of defeats the purpose of
doing a LFS.
