That one mentioned in the book isn't present neither at http://www.gnu.org/software/libc/ with a different size, nor at ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/glibc/snapshots/glibc-2.8-20080929.tar.bz2 There are a lot of glibc-2.8, but which one to choose? Thanks for any help! --
