So partitionning correctly another disk, dd source to dest to copy all
partitions and install grub again fixed the issue.
I am now able to boot on my lfs disk.
Quick note, although the support on the mailing list is great, it wouldn't
hurt to tell people who makes a separate /boot partition to hav
