Hi all,
for those who have some spare CPUs and might want to donate them to
the FAH project, I hacked a little setup script with which you get the
FAH client running on you LFS box.
FAH provides data packages on which some calculations has to be
performed. Actually, the project provides data to

Hi again,
just as a follow-up:
I asked the Apache/FOP guys about that issue:
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/xmlgraphics-fop-users/201911.mbox/ajax/%3C4d044e44a7a07fcf688ffda8e8de2724d81a5c4f.camel%40linuxfromscratch.org%3E
and subsequent answers.
Looks like it is a bug somewhere in
answering myself:
Looks like the font size is controlled by the attribute-set named
"book.titlepage.recto.style" which is defined in
{stylesheets}/fo/titlepage.xsl. If overwriting it using
bold
20pt
center
the lines on title page gets bigger. But unfortunatly all of them,

Hi all,
for a from LFS totally different project, i us docbook xml to document
some stuff. The documentation should also be provided as PDF. So for,
nothing special, the LFS project tought me to handle Docbook (thanks
for that!).
The issue is when generating PDF, the book title on the very first

Hi all,
i tried to build a new LFS system. Unfortunatly, the build breaks at gcc
pass-2 in chapter 5. I tried several times now, the build always breaks
with the same message
": No such file or directory"
but it happens not always on the same source of gcc and the broken
filename is always
