            Bug ID: 100781
Summary: Make snaprange independent from screen resolution
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Draw
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: tietze.he...@gmail.com

Today the snap range (Tools > Options > LibreOffice Draw > Grid) is defined by
default as 5px. This is not appropriate on high resolution screens.

>From bug 93267
>And the default 5px snap range is on a high DPI monitor,
>like a MacBook with >more than 200ppi, a lot to small!
>May be this should be scaled on high DPI monitors?
>Example: 1px is 1/200 in = 0.005 in = 0.127mm.
>5px are 0.635mm, nearly nothing...

One solution could be to change the unit from px to pt, or even better cm (or
whatever is set in Tools > Options > LibreOffice Draw > General).
