It might be worth looking around the LO packages installed/missing, maybe an

I have a gut feeling that this relates to recent multiple Ubuntu
package-specific problems. If my guess is right, then TDF-supplied LibreOffice

WORKAROUND:
After posting that bug report, it occurred to me to move my locally installed
*.TTF fonts into the system-wide `/usr/share/fonts/truetype/` location.
I did. They work.
So perhaps that at least
