On startup, LibreOffice Writer displays dialog boxes on MacOS indicating "An
Error has occurred in LanguageTool 3.9"
"java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class
org.languagetool.Languages"
it reports OS: MacOS on x86_64, Java 9.0.4 from Oracle
Java Control Panel reports Java 10.0.2
MacOS version is 10.13.6 "High Sierra"
It is not clear whether Writer expects 9.0.4 and is incompatible with 10.0.2 or
whether it is somehow invoking an old version of 9.0.4 even though the newer
one is present, or if the problem is completely unrelated.
After dismissing dialogs, Writer seems to work normally, although no exhaustive
testing has yet been attempted.
