Thinking about it from the perspective of the presenter: I'm editing my slides,
I add a bullet point to my list. Its formatting is derived from the other
members of the list, everything looks great.

When you add text to a bulleted list, the new text is supposed to inherit *all*
the attributes of the text already in the list. It already inherits all the
font an paragraph attributes, as it should

I have a similar problem in that often times I cannot add the last line or two
of a bulleted list to the custom animation pane. I can select the text and
click the '+' button, but it will not go into the list
