Bug ID: 148798 Summary: Add to list: unable to 'detected' a list directly below/or above.. you always need to place cursor in the list Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.4.0.0 alpha0+ Master Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: tele...@surfxs.nl Description: Add to list: unable to 'detected' a list directly below/or above.. you always need to place cursor in the list Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open attachment 179780 [details] 2. tools -> Customize -> toolbar -> Add 'add to list' to formatting toolbar 3. Select Hello 4. Notice the 'Add to list button' being de-activated.. 5. You need to read the manual about the whole CTRL click stuff. https://help.libreoffice.org/7.4/en-US/text/swriter/02/add_to_list.html?&DbPAR=SHARED&System=WIN Actual Results: The add to list is only usable after reading the manual.. although this being pretty common thing you want to do. And there could be some simple basic function to add it to existing list... If not that what's intended, you can simply undo (same argument as for auto-correct) Expected Results: The buttons in the toolbar have straight away functions. However Add to list has a very specific workflow. I kind of expect it being able to 'detect' a list directly below of above.. and simply add it there if this being the case. (without the whole CTRL+fuzz). More or less similar to Word where pressing 'numbered list' above /below existing list simply continues the list/numbering No problem with the extra CTRL+Click & Add to list thing, but that's an addition :-). The advanced feature, IMHO. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 4659fc2f0a7223a89446edff0b77e58758b5edf5 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (nl_NL); UI: en-US Calc: CL -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
