Note to comment 6: I had tested it on an i5 with 2,4 GHz and 4GB RAM
And I tested it once more and for me it opens much faster than as for Laurence
and Sasha.

for me not reproducible with LO 4.0.2.2 (Win7 Home, 64bit), but it takes 3 to 5
seconds to open the file, MSO 2007 opens the file without any delay
