The bug is still present in 3.5.1.2. After fresh install you should click on
"Reset" button (File > Properties). Only then - in current and each next

Checking / unchecking "Apply user data" (and confirm) does not change described
behavior. This option is checked by default and saving user data should work
after installation. It doesn't.

it works for me in LO 3.5.0 rc2 and LO 3.4.5 if I check "Apply user data" in
the menu File > Properties... -> General tab.
Tested under Ubuntu 11.10.

Fresh install - LO 3.4.5, Windows 7.
1. Go to the Writer: Tools > Options > LibreOffice > User Data
2. Enter name, surname and confirm by clicking OK button.
