when I deleted /opt/lodev3.5/share/fonts/truetype, all becomes fine.

works fine for me as well, sounds a bit like bug 44078, but I can't reproduce
that one either, and Lior says this one works for him. I suspect some similar
problem, perhaps triggere

It is really strange. I am not able to reproduce it. It displays here fine even
with "Dejavu Sans" font. I use 3.5.0-beta2-x86_64 on SLED11-SP1-x86_64.
