             Bug #: 44508
           Summary: FILESAVE
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.3.4 release
          Platform: x86 (IA32)
        OS/Version: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
        AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
        ReportedBy: renaaaaaa...@gmail.com

--> Date field instable with .doc format

When:
Insert > Fields > Date
Left Click on the created field > Fields... > Type: Date / Select: Date /
Format: Additional Formats...
NOTE: Choose the "not fixed" Date format on the "Select" listbox

Choose a format, like "Friday, December 31, 1999". It will insert (today)
"Tuesday, January 3, 2012". That's OK... Now save the document on .doc format
(Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP/2003). Close the program. Open the document again.

It will appear "Tuesday, , January 3, 2012". Ops! Another comma. Make some
changes on the document, save again, close, open again. Another comma.

If you try to insert a field with a non-english language, it will change the
language to english in some cases.

Example:

(in brazilian portuguese)

Terça-feira, 3 de Janeiro de 2012 (that's correct)

after the save (.doc) --> close --> open
will be:

Tuesday, , 3 de January de 2012 (wrong, I want it in portuguese)

The same will not happen if I save it on the .odt format.
