Bug #: 49730 Summary: SLIDESHOW: Bad SVG render quality during slideshow Classification: Unclassified Product: LibreOffice Version: LibO 3.5.3 release Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Status Whiteboard: BSA Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Presentation AssignedTo: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: die...@uellue.de Created attachment 61357 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=61357 ODP file with sample SVG and corresponding PNG file. The SVG version looks worse as slideshow than during editing Problem description: First of all, thumbs up for SVG support! I was dearly missing this one and it was my reason to upgrade to the latest release. The SVGs are rendered pretty well during editing mode, but the rendering quality during presentation is lower and the graphs, text etc. look somewhat blurred. Steps to reproduce: 1. Make an SVG with hard contrasts and fine lines 2. Include in presentation 3. Show slideshow Current behavior: It looks good during editing (SVG text almost like "native" text, minus subpixel hinting), and it looks bad in slideshow mode Expected behavior: SVG graphics always look perfect, text in SVG looks like "native" text, particularly in slideshow mode.
