This weekend LibreOffice was presented at a fair. We tested the new 4.2.2 on a
Windows 8 machine, the bug was as reported. On a Windows 7 machine the display
was much better. So it still happens ...

Uninstalled and reinstalled LibreOffice. Then installed the OpenSymbol font.
This fixed a lot of equation issues, but now there is a box where the
underbrace should be.
