I am also having this issue. I've removed my user profile and tried my document
and it still fails. I've tried creating a new document and exporting it before
editing and that works fine.

Deleting the user data fixes it:

For me, disabling View pdf after export also solves the problem, as described
by BC_Admin.
Could it be that with a new account, the option is disabled by default?
