as far as I remember you should download separately the help pack (or select it
during installation) in order to have an off-line helpfile.
If you don't do this, the Helpfile is accessed online only.

Yes, I did that, in fact there is no other way looking at
the LO download page.
I think one crucial (index) file is corrupt.
Can I de-install the complete program without
loosing my macro's and then re-install it.?
