          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 71500
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: EDITING: Table of Contents is Deleted Unintentionally
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: harald.koes...@mail.de
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 4.1.2.3 release
         Component: Writer
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
[1] Open a new text document.
[2] Disable option “LibreOffice Writer → Formatting Aids → Cursor in protected
areas“.
[3] Type in a word, then Enter.
[4] Insert a heading.
[5] Insert a protected (against manual changes) table of contents between the 2
paragraphs.
[6] Delete word in paragraph above table.
[7] Delete empty paragraph in first line with “Del“. The empty paragraph and
the table of contents is deleted. Expected: Only paragraph should be deleted.

Hint: I assume that the behaviour is equal with other indexes or tables which
can be protected against manual changes, but I did not check it.

Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.1.2.3 release
