Text with brackets

Problem description:

"[" in the Writer text, does not affect/related to any MediaWiki syntax, but
include with "<nowiki> </nowiki>"

Steps to reproduce:
1. single "[" in Writer

e.g.
The then-effective Judiciary Act provided that the Supreme Court would have
jurisdiction “to issue … writs of mandamus … [to] persons holding office under
the authority of the United States.” Thus the Act itself explicitly authorized
the relief being sought by the plaintiffs.

2. export to MW, display OK

<nowiki>The then-effective Judiciary Act provided that the Supreme Court would
have jurisdiction “to issue … writs of mandamus … [to] persons holding office
under the authority of the United States.” Thus the Act itself explicitly
authorized the relief being sought by the plaintiffs.</nowiki>

3. delete "<nowiki> </nowiki>" in wiki page, nothing happen

Current behavior:

This issue causes I need to remove "<nowiki> </nowiki>" every time, when I
want to add MW syntax, e.g. add links, and so on. specially to re-edit to "long
pages" , which is very annoying.

Expected behavior:

filter to be improved
