Tried reset user profile, clearing temp files, version 4.2.3.3 - still have
reported problem.
Finally resolved by several system restores. So far 4.2.3.3 is working well
but have not tried to open 2nd sp

I can no longer open existing open document format file types but can work with
MS Office file types.
I am not able at this time to experiment with trying to open a second file.
