SET TERM is not a Firebird SQL command but a client (isql, Flamerobin,...)
command so it is expected that you get an SQL error from the server.

Error code: 1000
syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting BETWEEN or IN or SQL_TOKEN_LIKE
