I have also experienced this bug, both on my PC running Windows 7 and my Mac,
running OS X Mavericks. I had to go back to version 4.2.4, where I will stay
until this particular bug is fixed.

I think it's not critical since we have a workaround: hard recalc.
You're only speaking as a dev here... As an ordinary user I have never heard of
ctrl-shift-f9.
